Education
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
  • Experience
  • At least 7 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments, Textile, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories, Spinning
  • Additional Requirements
  • 7-8 years of hands-on practical experience in mechanical engineering maintenance and operations, particularly within the textile industry.
  • Extensive knowledge in the operation and maintenance of textile-specific machinery, including printing machines (MHM, RIGGIANI), stenter machines (BRUCKNER, MONFORTS), washing machines (GOLLER, TONELLO), as well as essential factory utilities such as boilers, compressors, plumbing systems, firefighting and detection systems, diesel and gas generator sets, and water pumps.
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and oral English communication.
  • Highly committed to work, with a strong sense of independence, self-motivation, and a result-oriented approach.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications and AutoCAD, essential for effective planning and documentation.
  • Proven leadership and execution skills with the ability to manage teams and oversee complex mechanical operations in a textile manufacturing environment.
  • Responsibilities & Context
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and execute all mechanical maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled, within the textile industry.
  • Observe, study, and draft reports on issues such as performance loss, breakdowns, quality faults, or inefficiencies in specific machines, equipment, or processes in textile manufacturing.
  • Supervise and lead all mechanical maintenance processes and operations in the textile factory.
  • Identify root causes of mechanical issues and propose alternative solutions, ensuring effective troubleshooting within textile machinery and processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of all mechanical systems vital to the textile establishment.
  • Maintain all machinery to ensure it meets industry-standard working conditions in textile production.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve mechanical problems, ensuring continuous textile production.
  • Ensure the safety of visitors and employees by adhering to occupational safety and environmental regulations specific to the textile industry.
  • Report issues and proposed solutions to higher management, aiming for permanent rectification and continuous improvement in textile operations.
  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs, specifically tailored to the needs of the textile factory.
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of mechanical work in the textile factory to ensure efficient and uninterrupted production.
